We are so excited that a new Kiwanis Club is opening in Muscle Shoals and that children in this community will benefit from the committed volunteers who become Charter Members of this new club. They will shape how it is established and what projects in the community it supports. We would love for you to be a part of that.
We will be holding an organizational meeting at Muscle Shoals High School starting at 5:00 on Sept 1st. Bring a friend and learn more. This is going to be a great club and it is going to have a huge impact. #kidsneedkiwanis Like Us on Facebook to stay updated: https://www.facebook.com/MuscleShoalsALKiwanis Help u spread the word!
Kiwanis International is a global community of clubs, members, and partners dedicated to improving the lives of children one community at a time. Today, we stand with more than 550,000 members from K-Kids to Key Club to Kiwanis and many ages between in 80 countries and geographic areas. Each community has different needs, and Kiwanis empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children, such as fighting hunger, improving literacy, and offering guidance.
Kiwanis clubs host nearly 150,000 service projects each year.
Below is the New Member Application Form. Please complete this and return it to Lt. Governor Gordon Ruggles. A Charter Member Dues Payment of $150 will also be due. It is important to note that the Kiwanis fiscal year starts in October and that this is a prorated amount of the annual $150/year dues. Each club also determines how meals and payments for such are handled. You can also pay the fee using this secure, online payment link.
